Message from our Grand Master

The e-portal and website of the Regional Grand Lodge of Northern India is yet another milestone in the growing list of accomplishments of the Regional Grand Lodge under the dynamic leadership of RW Bro Anish Kumar Sharma, the Regional Grand Master. I congratulate the Regional Grand Master and all the Brethren of the Region on the launch of the website.
Technology has become central to our day to day lives. We cannot imagine a world today without computers and the Internet. E-governance is the new norm and Governments all over the world are embracing it. Freemasonry too has to welcome it with open arms.
The Regional Grand Lodge of Southern India is already working on a paperless governance system. With the launch of this e-portal and website, Regional Grand Lodge of Northern India has taken a giant leap forward towards achieving that goal.
As I have said before in some of my speeches, Change is the only thing that is constant. I hope the Brethren and Lodges/Chapters of the Northern Region will take full advantage of the introduction of online filing of half-yearly/annual returns on this e-portal. The new website will enable the Secretaries/Scribes E to access the information and forms/documents they require to effectively and efficiently run their Lodges/Chapters.
I hope that the Regional Grand Lodge of Northern India will showcase its prominent permanent charity projects such as the General Williams Masonic Polyclinic, the Masonic Eye Centre, Masonic Public School and the school for special children in Noida run by Amrit Masonic Society to create more awareness among the Freemasons and public at large about the fantastic charitable work that the Region is doing on the revamped website.
I wish the Region the very best.

M.W. Bro. Rajeev R. Khandelwal, OSM
